The Casco Open Space Commission and Loon Echo Land Trust invite you to celebrate the conservation of Rolfe Hill Forest on Quaker Ridge Road in Casco on Saturday, February 15th! We'll discuss future trail plans and offer attendees a guided opportunity to explore the property. Family friendly! Light (and warm!) refreshments will be provided.
10:00 am – Welcome, brief remarks by Matt Markot, LELT Executive Director and Sam Brown, Casco Open Space Commission Chair. Ribbon cutting.
10:30 am – Guided walk to wetlandExplore the property on your own via snowshoes (available to borrow), XC skis (bring your own gear)
Parking:- Please consider carpooling.- Parking is limited at the Rolfe Hill trailhead. Parking will be available at the Brown Ave Fire station (https://maps.app.goo.gl/qa3exKbYyJk6Vwe49). A shuttle will be available from 9:45 - 12:30 to transport you back and forth.
