Explore local conserved lands and support local land access by running in the Loon Echo Race Series! All proceeds benefit Loon Echo Land Trust, a Bridgton-based nonprofit organization that works to conserve land, protect public access to the outdoors, and build and maintain trails in the Lakes Region.

A great introduction to trail running, this will take you down to the historic Crooked River and have you exploring the raw trails of the Crooked River Forest. Take in some freshly cut trails featuring tall red pines and scenic river views. This race starts and finishes at Scribner's Mill, a historic sawmill & homestead located right on the Crooked River in Harrison, ME.

Join us for the third annual Bald Pate 10k! Wind your way through the ancient pitch pine forest and take in beautiful views of Foster Pond and the surrounding area. This is a challenging course that features steep climbs and technical terrain.

This is a figure-8, three lap course that navigates through the Bald Pate Preserve and Holt Pond Preserve. Each lap finishes with a section right through the heart of the apple orchard. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or looking to break into the ultra distances, this race is sure to challenge you.

The third annual Pleasant Mountain half marathon! Take on Southern Maine's tallest mountain. You'll be greeted with technical single-track and traverse across Pleasant Mountain’s iconic ridge.
When: Sunday, September 27th
Where: Pleasant Mountain East Lodge - 305 Mountain Road, Bridgton, ME 04009
Race Start: 8:00 am
Bib Pick-up: East Lodge, race morning 6:00 - 7:30am
Prices: $70 (before 5/1/2026), $75 (before 9/1/2026), $80 (starting 9/1/2026)
- All participants receive a tech t-shirt (sign up by 9/1 to guarantee a shirt!), meal ticket, and a beer! (21+)
- Finishers will also receive a 2025 Pleasant Mountain Race finisher medal.

Not interested in running but still want to be involved? Consider volunteering! We are mainly looking for individuals to direct participants at key points on the course and to help participants at the start/finish, and at the aid station. Help our participants stay hydrated, nourished, and on course! Any and all help is greatly appreciated, no experience necessary. Reach out to raceseries@lelt.org with questions and interest.
