Free Events to Help Get You Outdoors This Summer

Loon Echo Land Trust is hosting several events throughout July & August that will help you learn, meet new people, and be active outdoors.

Yoga on the Hill
Wednesday, July 3, 10, 24, 5:30pm - 6:30pm | Hacker's Hill, Casco
Join certified yoga instructors in a gentle yoga practice in the fresh air! Yoga on the Hill will continue through September on Wednesdays at 5:30pm (no yoga on sunset concert dates).Please sign up here if you are planning on attending any of the classes this summer.

A Walk in Progress
Monday, July 8, 10am - 11am | Pondicherry Park, Bridgton
Join LELT and a local physical therapist for tips and support to help you get back on the trail after surgery or injury. Registration required here. Learn more.

Wednesday Wander
Wednesday, July 10, 9am - 11am | Location TBD
Led by Maine Master Naturalists Leigh and Dawn, explore the wonders of the macroinvertebrates in a local stream. Learn more and register here.

Sunset Concert - Just Be-Cause
Wednesday, July 17, 6pm - 8pm | Hacker's Hill, Casco
We’re excited to welcome Just Be-Cause back to the Hill for an evening of music! Bring chairs, blankets, and a picnic! Suggested donation: $10/adult (but not required for entry). Please consider carpooling.

Community Walk
Thursday, July 18, 12pm - 1pm |Pondicherry Park, Bridgton
Join LELT staff for a casual walk in the Park to meet fellow community members and be active outside. Walk will be cancelled in case of poor weather. Check our Facebook page& website for final notice. Meet at the Bob Dunning Memorial Bridge entrance to the park. No registration required.

History Walk
Friday, July 19, 9am - 11am | Peabody-Fitch Woods, Bridgton
Join Jon Evans, LELT Stewardship Manager & BHS Board President, for a walk at Narramissic & Peabody-Fitch Woods in south Bridgton. Jon will discuss the history of the farmstead and the collaborative work of Bridgton Historical Society and Loon Echo Land Trust. No registration required.
