The Course
Almost immediately, participants will be faced with 1700’ of climbing in 2 miles up Bald Peak. The course will then stop short of the summit and head back down to the base, via Firewarden’s trail. Participants will then partially circumnavigate around the base to the Southwest Ridge Trailhead, where they will face another 1900’ of gain in 2.5 miles. After reaching the summit, the course will take individuals across the northern ridge, and then down the technical Sue’s Way trail. This connects back to Bald Peak, which will take participants down to Mountain Rd and to the finish. The course starts and finishes at the Pleasant Mountain East Lodge.

There will be one aid station on the course. This will be located at the Southwest Ridge Trailhead. We will have various sweet and salty snacks as well as water and Tailwind. Keep in mind that this is a grassroots event and items at the aid station will rely on the help of the community. Please consider signing up for the aid station potluck here.
Mountain weather is subject to extreme changes, and you must carry the gear listed below. Gear will be checked at bib pickup to ensure everyone is prepared for the race!

Not interested in running but still want to be involved? Consider volunteering! We are mainly looking for individuals to direct participants at key points on the course and to help participants at the start/finish, and at the aid station. Help our participants stay hydrated, nourished, and on course! Any and all help is greatly appreciated, no experience necessary. Reach out to Addie at raceseries@lelt.org with questions and interest.
